National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum releases first Martin Truex Jr. bobblehead By JEFF BAILEY
All right bobblehead fans, Martin Truex Jr. has finally arrived at the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. With the recent news of Furniture Row Racing shutting down its operation in Denver and Truex on the search for a new team after this season, we saw it fitting to share some fun news about Truex and his first officially licensed, limited-edition NASCAR bobblehead.
The Truex bobblehead is new for the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and it is the first one produced of the 2017 Monster Energy NASCAR Cup Series Champion driver.
Truex is in third place in the 2018 standings heading into the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway this Sunday.
The first production run of the individually numbered Truex bobbleheads will only be available at National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s online store. Each of the 2,018 numbered bobbleheads is produced by FOCO and retails for $35, plus shipping.
Truex isn’t the lone NASCAR driver available, as Chase Elliott, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Kyle Busch and Kyle Larson bobbleheads are also available to NASCAR fans.
“NASCAR bobbleheads have been around since the early 2000’s, but have been under-represented recently,” said Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “The most recent series of bobbleheads combined with Martin’s strong performance and fan base led us to add him to the lineup. Hopefully we’ll be adding several more drivers over the next year, as we’ve seen that the passion of NASCAR fans is among the strongest in all of sports.”
