ST. LOUIS (KMOV.com) – Looking for the purrrfect gift for your Valentine?
Wednesday morning the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a limited-edition bobblehead of the St. Louis Cardinals Rally Cat. There were only 360 Rally Cat bobbleheads available for purchase and they sold out within hours.
Because the bobbleheads sold out so fast, a second-edition is being made available. The second-edition bobblehead will feature the Rally Cat wearing a red Cardinals jersey. The second-edition bobbleheads will not be shipped until July but fans can preorder now.
The legend of Rally Cat was born on Aug. 9, 2017 when the Cardinals were trailing the Royals in the bottom of the sixth inning and the infamous kitten ran out onto the field during the game immediately before Yadier Molina hit a grand slam.
