This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled a special edition Western Michigan Broncos 2025 Hockey National Champions Scoreboard Bobblehead. The new bobblehead joins the pair of previously released Western Michigan Hockey Championship Bobbleheads that were unveiled following Western Michigan’s National Championship. The officially licensed, limited-edition bobbleheads commemorate the Western Michigan Broncos’ 2025 NCAA Men’s Hockey National Championship, which was the first in program history. The bobbleheads feature Western Michigan mascot, Buster Bronco, as well as Bobble Logo featuring the National Championship logo. The special edition bobbleheads are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Western Michigan University.

  • The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in October, are now available exclusively at this link.
  • Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to only 2,025.
  • The mascot and scoreboard bobbleheads are $40 and the Bobble Logo is $30 plus an $8 flat-rate shipping charge per order.
  • The special edition Scoreboard Bobblehead features Buster Bronco skating on an ice textured base with a replica scoreboard featuring the Western Michigan logo and proclaiming “2025 NATIONAL CHAMPIONS” with the 2025 NCAA Men’s Hockey National Champions logo on both sides of the scoreboard.
  • Proudly wearing a white, brown and gold Broncos sweater and ice skates while holding a hockey stick, the Buster Bronco National Championship bobblehead is giving the No. 1 sign on a base featuring the official Western Michigan Broncos 2025 Men’s Hockey National Champions logo. The Bobble Logo features the official National Championship logo bobbling above a hockey puck base.
  • On Saturday, April 12th, the Western Michigan Broncos (34-7-1) won their first-ever national title in men’s hockey with a 6-2 victory over Boston University in the NCAA Frozen Four Championship before a crowd of 16,953 at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis, Missouri.
  • Making its Frozen Four debut, WMU beat defending champion Denver by a score of 3-2 in double overtime in the semifinals on Thursday, April 10th. After scoring twice, including the game-winning goal 26 seconds into the second overtime on Thursday, Owen Michaels scored two more goals in the title game and was named the tournament’s Most Outstanding Player. Goaltender Hampton Slukynsky and captain Tim Washe were named to the All-Tournament Team. WMU took a 2-1 lead after one period on an unassisted goal by Cole Crusberg-Roseen at 15:01, and the Broncos never relinquished the lead. “We believed in ourselves all year long,” fourth-year WMU coach Pat Ferschweiler said. “We came out here and executed at a high level. We played Bronco hockey from start to finish.”
  • The only other national team titles in WMU’s history were won by the men’s cross country team in 1964 and 1965.
  • “The Western Michigan Hockey National Champions Bobbleheads that we unveiled the week after the game were extremely popular with fans, leading us to develop this additional special edition bobblehead for fans to celebrate Western Michigan’s historic title,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “Bobbleheads are the ultimate way to celebrate a team’s championship, and we think Western Michigan fans are going to want to add this awesome new bobblehead to their collection!”
  • The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, which is located at 170 S. 1st St. in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, opened to the public on February 1st, 2019. The HOF and Museum also produces high quality, customized bobbleheads for retail sale as well as organizations, individuals, and teams across the country.
