MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Marking his retirement after 50 years, a new bobblehead is paying tribute to the legacy of Wisconsin marching band’s director.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum in Milwaukee has unveiled a limited edition bobblehead of University of Wisconsin-Madison marching band director Michael Leckrone.
Just over 2,000 numbered bobbleheads, which play a recording of “On, Wisconsin,” will be sold for $25 plus shipping.
In 2003, another bobblehead of Leckrone sold out.
Leckrone is retiring after 50 years of leading the band.
