MILWAUKEE – Today, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed Jeremiah Smith Ohio State Buckeyes Record-Breaking Bobblehead Set featuring the standout wide receiver who recently became the school’s all-time leader in receptions, receiving yards, and receiving touchdowns. The special edition bobbleheads each feature a pose from the record-breaking play and fit together to form an Ohio Stadium field base.

The release comes ahead of 4th-ranked Ohio State’s huge matchup at 5th-ranked and defending national champion, Indiana, which is at noon on Saturday. The bobbleheads, which are approved by Jeremiah Smith, are being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of Ohio State University.

On a replica of Safelite Field at “The Shoe” and commemorating each of the three record-breaking plays, the Jeremiah Smith bobbleheads, from left to right and end zone to end zone, are arranged in the order in which he achieved his school records. Wearing a scarlet No. 4 jersey with gray pants, the receiving yards leader bobblehead is holding a football in his right hand while giving a stiff arm with his left hand. The touchdown receptions leader bobblehead is making the pose that Smith made as he celebrated his record-breaking touchdown and the receptions leader bobblehead is making a sure-handed catch, both wearing Ohio State’s white jersey.

The backing of each bobblehead includes the individual receiving record and the date on which it was accomplished. The fronts of the bases read “OHIO STATE,” “JEREMIAH SMITH,” and “BUCKEYES,” while the backs of the bases feature the Ohio State logo. The bobbleheads, which are individually numbered, are available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in April 2027, are available individually for $45 each or as a set of three for $125, plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

On Saturday, October 3rd, Smith caught 11 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns as fifth-ranked Ohio State beat No. 14 Iowa, 31-14, in a Big Ten Conference game at Kinnick Stadium in Iowa City. With his two TD receptions, Smith broke the program record for career receiving TDs, passing Chris Olave’s previous mark of 34. Additionally, Smith’s 11 receptions moved him past Emeka Egbuka and K.J. Hill to become OSU’s career receptions leader with 207. Smith also recorded his 15th career 100-yard receiving game, tying Marvin Harrison Jr. for the most in program history. On Saturday, September 19th, Smith set OSU’s record for career receiving yards in a 59-3 victory over Kent State in Columbus. Smith broke the record previously held by Egbuka. In 34 games, the 6-foot-4, 222-pound junior has 207 receptions for 3,381 yards, and 36 touchdowns.

A Florida native and a five-star recruit out of Chaminade-Madonna College Preparatory School, Smith was the top-ranked prospect of the 2024 college football class, and the highest-ranked wide receiver recruit in the modern recruiting era (2000 to present). In his first collegiate season, he set the FBS single-season record for receiving yards (1,315) and TDs (15) by a true freshman. A unanimous All-American as a sophomore, Smith was named to the Maxwell Watch List, Walter Camp Watch List, and Biletnikoff Watch List going into his junior season. He is currently a frontrunner in the Heisman Trophy race.

“We’re excited to unveil this special edition bobblehead series commemorating the three major Ohio State records that Jeremiah Smith has broken this season,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “In less than three seasons, Jeremiah has become the most prolific pass catcher for one of the greatest college football programs of all time. This bobblehead set is sure to be a must-have for fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes and Jeremiah Smith!”

Previously, a bobblehead of Smith making a leaping catch was released after he helped the Buckeyes capture the 2024 College Football Playoff National Championship as a true freshman. The next production run of the bobblehead, which costs $40 each, is scheduled to ship in March.
