First Eric Musselman Arkansas Razorbacks Bobblehead Unveiled

MILWAUKEE – This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled the first bobblehead featuring University of Arkansas basketball coach Eric Musselman. The officially licensed, limited-edition bobblehead is being released as Coach Musselman and Arkansas prepares for the 2023-24 season. Arkansas is ranked #14 in the preseason AP Top 25 Poll, with the Razorbacks coming off a Sweet 16 Season that included a victory over top-seeded and defending national champion Kansas in the 2023 NCAA Tournament. The special edition bobblehead is being produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the University of Arkansas.

Standing on a base bearing his name and the Arkansas logo, the Musselman bobblehead has a fist raised in celebratory fashion as he celebrates with fans on the Razorbacks reaching their third straight Sweet 16. Each bobblehead is individually numbered to 2,023 and they are only available through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in early December, are $30 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.

Eric Musselman, who was named the Arkansas head coach on April 7th, 2019, has a record of 95-42 in four seasons leading the Razorbacks. After reaching the Elite Eight in 2021 and 2022, Arkansas continued to make some more March memories in 2023. The eighth-seeded Razorbacks opened the NCAA Tournament with a victory over Illinois and then knocked off Kansas, 72-71, in the second round. As the final buzzer sounded, Musselman jumped onto the press table, ripped off his red polo shirt and waved it over his head while shouting, much to the delight of the Arkansas faithful. The celebration has become a tradition for Musselman after big victories. It was the second year in a row that Arkansas beat a No. 1 seed. The Razorbacks upset Gonzaga on the way to their second straight Elite Eight in the 2022 NCAA Tournament.

Musselman arrived at Arkansas after four successful seasons as the head coach at the University of Nevada in which he compiled an overall record of 110-34 and the Wolf Pack qualified for three consecutive NCAA Tournaments. Musselman, the son of former NBA head coach Bill Musselman, previously served as the head coach of the Sacramento Kings for one season (2006-07) and Golden State Warriors for two seasons (2002-04). Between NBA head coaching stints, he served as an assistant for the Memphis Grizzlies under Mike Fratello before moving to the college coaching ranks in 2012 as an assistant at Arizona State University. Musselman was also a head coach in the Continental Basketball Association before becoming an assistant coach with the Minnesota Timberwolves, Orlando Magic, and Atlanta Hawks.

“We are excited to unveil the first bobblehead of Arkansas basketball coach Eric Musselman,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “Coach Musselman has made his mark with the Razorbacks in recent years. If you’re an Arkansas hoops fan, this bobblehead is a must-have!”
