Today, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled an officially licensed UConn Huskies Basketball Welcome to Indianapolis Bobblehead to celebrate the UConn Huskies men’s basketball team and its fans’ trip to Indianapolis for the 2026 NCAA Division I Final Four. The Final Four National Semifinals games will take place this Saturday, April 4th with the National Championship Game on Monday, April 6th at Lucas Oil Stadium. The limited edition bobblehead is available exclusively from the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, an official licensee of the University of Connecticut.
- The bobbleheads are now available in the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store at this link.
- The bobbleheads, which are expected to ship in October, are $40 each plus a flat-rate shipping charge of $8 per order.
- Each bobblehead will be individually numbered to 2,026.
- Standing on a circular race track base that reads “UConn Huskies” across the front, the Jonathan the Husky bobblehead is holding a suitcase in one hand and a checkered flag in the other hand. The bobblehead is standing in between a race car and basketball, which both bobble. The basketball, race car, and suitcase are all adorned with the UConn logo. The base also features a sign that reads “Welcome To Indianapolis.”
- With an improbable 73-72 victory over top-seeded Duke in the Elite Eight on Sunday, March 29th at Capital One Arena in Washington, D.C., second-seeded UConn advanced to the Final Four for the eighth time in program history.
- The Huskies (33-5) will face Illinois (28-8) in the national semifinals on Saturday, April 4th at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. The winner will take on the winner between Arizona and Michigan for the national championship on Monday, April 6th.
- Under eighth-year coach Dan Hurley, the Huskies advanced to their first Final Four since winning back-to-back NCAA titles in 2023 and 2024.
- In the Elite Eight victory, freshman Braylon Mullins sank a desperation 3-pointer with 0.4 seconds left to lift UConn, which rallied from a 19-point first-half deficit. Seconds before the 35-foot game winner, Silas Demary Jr. deflected a Duke pass near midcourt and UConn came up with the ball. The Huskies have now won 18 consecutive games in the Sweet 16 or subsequent rounds. Tarris Reed Jr. led UConn with 27 points and was named the East Region’s Most Outstanding Player.
