You think it’s hard for a team to make it to the Super Bowl?
Try snagging one of the exclusive new bobbleheads commemorating the big game on Feb. 5 between our beloved Falcons and — boo, they’re going down! — the New England Patriots.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum on Thursday unveiled its Limited Edition bobblehead for Super Bowl LI. Only 144 of the little darlings, which are officially licensed by the NFL and feature a classic vintage football player design, will be sold in the organization’s online store. (A second limited edition of 144 bobbleheads commemorating last year’s Super Bowl between the Denver Broncos and the Carolina Panthers also went on sale Thursday). The bobbleheads cost $25 apiece, plus $8 shipping.
We know what you’re thinking … C’mon, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum? That’s a joke, right?
Nope, it’s real, and has been since November 2014. Ranging far beyond sports, it already has a very cool web site (dev.bobbleheadhall.com); while planning for its permanent location in downtown Milwaukee, the HOF and Museum recently hosted a special exhibition there entitled, “Bobbleheads: Real and Fantastical Heroism.”
That’s Milwaukee, as in Wisconsin. As in, that’s practically in the backyard of Green Bay, whose hapless Packers the mighty Falcons trounced to claim their spot in the Super Bowl.

Meanwhile, there’s potentially even bigger news on the bobblehead front for Atlanta fans. Immediately after the Super Bowl, bobbleheads for the winning team will be available for preorder. In the as-likely-as-a-Matty-Ice-to-Julio-Jones-spectacular-TD-pass event that the Falcons triumph, two separate sets of player bobbleheads (each bobblehead costing $30 – $35 apiece) will be produced, said Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the HOF and Museum.
