From Milwaukee Record – In all of yesterday’s Milwaukee Day hubbub, we somehow missed this one: Milwaukee legend Michael/Roosevelt “Freeway” McCarter, a familiar face and delightfully unique presence at nearly every sporting event in town (not to mention Facebook), is now a bobblehead. The Milwaukee-based National Bobblehead Hall of Fame, high off its upcoming Pete Rose bobblehead thing, created 150 miniature Freeways to coincide with yesterday’s 414 holiday. You can pick one up at RedLine Milwaukee (1422 N. 4th St., 414-491-9088) from now through Saturday, April 16. Any remaining bobbleheads will be available on RedLine’s online shop beginning Monday, April 18.
Oh, and the Freeway bobblehead will cost you $30. As the man himself would say: your response (in the comments below).
