- Standing on a basketball court base, the Swoop bobblehead is wearing a white Miami University basketball uniform. He is giving the No. 1 sign while holding a basketball adorned with the Miami logo. “Miami RedHawks” is printed on the front of the red base, while the backing reads: “REDHAWKS WIN! UNDEFEATED 2025-26 REGULAR SEASON!” in between two Miami logos.
- On Friday, March 6th, Miami finished the regular season as the only unbeaten team in NCAA Division I men’s basketball with a 110-108 overtime victory over the Ohio Bobcats in Athens. In winning for the first time since 2011 at Ohio’s Convocation Center, the RedHawks finished 18-0 in the Mid-American Conference and improved to 31-0 overall as they became the first team to complete an unblemished regular season since Gonzaga in 2021. They are only the fifth men’s Division I program this century to go undefeated during regular season play. The RedHawks finished the regular season with the most consecutive conference wins in MAC history. The previous record was originally set by Miami in the 1956-57 season at 16-0. The victory over Ohio was also the 1,500th in program history for the RedHawks.
- The bobbleheads are being released ahead of top-seeded Miami looking to keep its perfect record intact when it plays in the Mid-American Conference Tournament at Rocket Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. The RedHawks take on UMass in a quarterfinal matchup on Thursday, March 12th. The semifinals will be played on Friday, March 13th with the championship game set for Saturday, March 14th.
- “We’re excited to unveil this bobblehead celebrating Miami’s incredible undefeated regular season,” National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum co-founder and CEO Phil Sklar said. “By going 31-0, and winning eight games by three points or less, the RedHawks have made college basketball fans take notice of the excitement in Oxford this season. This bobblehead of Swoop is sure to be a big hit for Miami basketball fans and will be a must-have for RedHawk fans everywhere!”
