Oak Harbor, Washington, American Family agent Dan Evans’ customer Kyle Fosso always dreamed of becoming a pilot. At only 15, he used his entire childhood savings account to purchase an old, rusted airplane. For years, Kyle held several jobs, experienced countless setbacks and saved every dollar he earned. Now, at 21, he’s a licensed pilot, the proud owner of a rebuilt airplane and a mentor for other young dreamers.
‘Kyle’s ambition and drive are astonishing,’ says Dan. ‘In our first meeting while he explained the work on his airplane, he called it ‘his dream’ several times. He is the perfect example of a fearless dreamer.’
