Cleveland Indians Win Streak bobblehead released ByΒ Marc Bona

CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Cleveland Indians Win Streak bobblehead is being released Thursday, Aug. 2.
It is the first bobblehead to incorporate a dry erase board to track a streak, says Phil Sklar of theΒ National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
It features Indians mascot Slider holding the board to chalk-mark victories. The bobblehead was inspired by Cleveland’s 22-game win streak in 2017. Each licensed bobblehead costs $40 and is individually numbered to 1,000.
In 2017, the Indians set Major League Baseball’s record for longest winning streak from Aug. 24 to Sept. 14. The 1916 New York Giants had a longer unbeaten streak but included a tie when a game was called on account of darkness in the pre-lights era. (Here’sΒ more on that famed tie game.)
The bobbleheads are manufactured by New Jersey-based FOCO.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum aims to open in Milwaukee this fall.
