City unveils Abe Lincoln bobble head By Andy Vipond

LINCOLN, Neb. – The Lincoln Convention & Visitor’s Bureau is trying to get more people to check out the Capitol City.

February 12 is President Abraham Lincoln’s birthday and the Visitor’s Center unveiled a bobble head statue to honor him.

The bobble head took about three months to build and stands 5 feet tall.
But the Visitor’s Center is asking all tourists or visitors to stop by and take a picture with Abe.
There is a contest for best picture with the bobble head. Using #AbeLNK on Facebook and Twitter can possibly get you an overnight stay at the Graduate Hotel, a $50 gift card to John J’s Chow Hall and tickets to see Kinky Boots at the Lied Center on March 9.
There will also be two swag bags filled with a Yeti tumbler, t-shirt, notebook and socks.
