MILWAUKEE – As Philadelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz gets set to make his 2018 NFL debut on Sunday, a limited edition bobblehead of himself in his North Dakota State uniforum recently made a debut of its own.
On Friday, Sept. 21, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled the officially licensed Carson Wentz and Thundar NDSU High Five Bobblehead.
The bobblehead is part of a first-of-its-kind series featuring 12 current stars from MLB, NFL, NBA, NHL and the NCAA. Each bobblehead features an athlete high-fiving their team’s mascot. This is the first bobblehead to feature both Wentz and Thundar together.
The officially licensed bobbleheads, which are individually numbered only to 1,000, cost $60 each with a flat rate shipping charge of $8 per order. The bobbleheads are only available for purchase on the museum’s website, store.bobbleheadhall.com.
“We’re always thinking of ideas for unique and fun new bobbleheads, and the High Five Bobblehead Series certainly fits in that category with the high five being the ultimate symbol of success and celebration,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder and chief executive of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “This inaugural group of players feature some of the biggest stars in sports, and Carson Wentz bobbleheads have been among our best sellers over the past couple years. We think Bison fans are going to love this new bobblehead.”
This is the second time Wentz has been made into a bobblehead by the Milwaukee museum.
In October 2017, a limited edition bobblehead of Wentz was released that featured a smiling, helmet-less Wentz in a Bison uniform with a football in his hands looking ready to drop back to pass.
The bobbleheads of Wentz were produced by FOCO.
