Limited Edition bobblehead commemorating UNC’s six Men’s Basketball National Championships now available for preorder exclusively from the National Bobblehead HOF.
MILWAUKEE, Wi.,November 10, 2017 – – Today, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumunveiled a limited edition bobblehead commemorating the University of North Carolina’s six Men’s Basketball NCAA Division 1 National Championships. The bobbleheads, which are individually numbered to just1,000, are only available in the National Bobblehead HOF and Museum’s Online Store.
The bobblehead features UNC mascot, Rameses, in a white Tar Heel jersey on a logo-shaped base. Rameses is holding two replica National Championship trophies with four additional replica trophies on the base. A commemorative backing lists the years of North Carolina’s National Championships. This is the only bobblehead commemorating UNC’s six National Championships.
North Carolina is one of the most storied program in all of college sports, with the school’s six National Championships trailing only UCLA (11) and Kentucky (8). UNC won the school’s first Men’s Basketball National Championship in 1957, and has won the championship in 1982, 1993, 2005, 2009 and 2017. The Tar Heels defeated Gonzaga by a score of 71-65 in Phoenix, Arizona on April 3, 2017, to earn the school’s sixth championship.

Last year, the National Bobblehead HOF and Museum created a series of bobbleheads commemorating teams that won Men’s Basketball National Championships. The North Carolina bobblehead, which commemorated the school’s six championships, featured Rameses in a blue Tar Heels’ jersey and sold out quickly.
The bobbleheads, which just arrived and ship now, cost $40 each plus a flat rate shipping charge of $8 per order.The bobbleheads were produced exclusively for the National Bobblehead HOF by Forever Collectibles.
