Bobblehead celebrating the historic Cardinals vs. Cubs rivalry are now availableforpreorder.
MILWAUKEE, Wi.,October 13, 2017 – – This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumunveiled a bobbleheadcelebrating the St. Louis Cardinals vs. Chicago Cubs rivalry. The full-sized dual bobbleheads, which are individually numbered to only 1,000, are only available in the National Bobblehead HOF and Museum’s Online Store. This is the first rivalry bobblehead produced featuring the Cubs and Cardinals.
The dual bobblehead featuresCardinals’ mascot, Fredbird, ready to face off against Cubs’ mascot, Clark. The first batch of officially licensed bobbleheads isexpected to arrive in December, in time for the holiday season. They cost $75 each, with flat rate shipping of $8 per order.
The Cardinals–Cubs rivalry, which dates back to 1892, has historically been one of the most bitter rivalries in Major League Baseball and all professional sports. The Cubs lead the regular season series 1,221–1,161, with 19 ties, while the Cardinals have two more NL pennants with 19. However, the Cardinals have 11 World Series titles compared to the Cubs’ three championships.
