Bobblehead commemorating St. Louis Cardinals’ 11 World Series Championships are now availablefor sale.
MILWAUKEE, Wi.,August 16, 2017 – – This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumunveiled a bobblehead commemorating the St. Louis Cardinals 11 World Series Championships. The bobbleheads, which are individually numbered to only 1,000, are only available in the National Bobblehead HOF and Museum’s Online Store. This is the first bobbleheads commemoratingall 11 Cardinals World Series titles, which were in 1926, 1931, 1934, 1942, 1944, 1946, 1964, 1967, 1982, 2006 and 2011.
The bobblehead featuresCardinals’ mascot, Fredbird, holding two replica World Series trophies. Eight additional replica World Series trophies are on the base of the bobblehead, which is in the shape of the Cardinals logo. The bobblehead features a commemorative backing that lists the years of the Cardinals’ championships.The first batch of officially licensed bobbleheads is in stock and ships now. They cost $40 each, with flat rate shipping of $8.
This is the first in a series of bobbleheads being released by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum commemorating MLB teams that have won multiple World Series Championships. Each bobblehead in the series features the team’s mascot, and is individually numbered to only 1,000. Bobbleheads featuring World Series Champions and their mascots were not produced until 2001, and no bobbleheads have been produced commemorating all championships for each franchise.
