Milwaukee, WI – July 26, 2017 – This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumunveiled a Wisconsin Badgers Bucky Badger Jump Around Bobblehead. This is the first bobblehead featuring Bucky Badger doing the “Jump Around”, which has been a tradition at Badgers games for nearly 20 years.
The bobbleheadsare now available for pre-order in the Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store. They are expected to arrive in October and cost $40 each plus a flat rate shipping cost of $8.
The first “Jump Around” at Wisconsin took place in 1998, when the House of Pain song was played between the third and fourth quarter to get the crowed excited during a low-scoring game at Camp Randall Stadium. The tradition caught on and has been going strong ever since, aside from a brief hiatus in 2003 when engineers feared that the vibration could cause structural issues during stadium construction. Badgers fans, and Bucky, will continue the tradition for the 19th year during the 2017 season.
“‘Jump Around’ has quickly become one of the most iconic traditions in college sports,” said Phil Sklar, Co-Founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. “Bobbleheads are a perfect way to capture a special tradition like the Jump Around.”
The bobbleheads are being produced by Forever Collectibles and areofficially licensed.
