MILWAUKEE, Wi.,October 5, 2017 –This morning, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museumunveiledalimited-editionAustin Jackson Cleveland Indiansbobblehead commemorating Jackson’s over-the-wall catch at Fenway Park. On August 1st, 2017, with the Indians leading the Red Sox 7-5 in the bottom of the fifth inning, Jackson robbed the Red Sox’s Hanley Ramirez of a home run while diving over the wall and falling into the bullpen.
The bobblehead features Jackson leaping in the air against the bullpen wall. The backing includes a picture of the moment that Jackson fell into the bullpen, with the stunned fans in the background.
Jackson has been a key component of the Indians’ tremendous 2017 success, hitting .318 in 85 games. However, Jackson’s catch at Fenway Park will likely be the play that Indians and baseball fans across the world will remember for years to come.
