The marketing strategy is beyond brilliant.

With the hit HBO drama series back—through two “reunion-type episodes”—the Metropolitan’s placement on May 27, 2019, hits the mark. There’s also no better baseball player to sit on the Iron Throne. Thor could easily make a Westeros transition. In fact, he could slide ride in as a Dothraki screamer.View image on Twitter

Noah of House Syndergaard will oppose RHP Brandon Woodruff, whose career kicked off after he crossed the Narrow Sea. First pitch comes your way at 7:10 p.m. ET from Citi Field and can be seen on WPIX.

Game of Thrones Season 8, Episode 3 is set to premiere on Sunday night at 9 p.m. ET. And yes, it’s the 80-minute Winterfell Army of the Dead battle that’ll stop the world for a solid chunk of time.
